Teeth Whitening

Everyone wants shining teeth. Teeth are visible while talking, smiling, laughing and even while yawning. Good or bad? Whatever that is, we will never want our personality to drop down just because of our teeth. Ugly and unhygienic teeth and gums give a very bad look to our personality. Clean teeth are symbols of proper hygiene and cleanliness. If you are having bad times because of your teeth, visit a dentist as soon as possible as bad teeth might cause infection such as gingivitis. Here are some of the natural remedies for teeth whitening.

  • Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda are thought to be the best agents for fighting against the yellow and pale appearance of teeth and are best friends of your teeth. Mix a little of peroxide and baking soda. Brush your teeth with this mixture. Leave the mixture onto teeth overnight. Rinse in the morning. Repeat this brushing method for a week. Hydrogen peroxide might give you a burning sensation on your gum but it is very good for teeth whitening. Baking soda is also approved by dentists.
  • Another use of baking soda is to mix it with the regular tooth paste you use. Brush your teeth with this paste. The mixture might taste bad. Keep brushing as long as you can bear with the taste. Wash your teeth properly with plain water. If the taste was bad enough, brush once again but with your regular tooth paste only.
  • Strawberries are considered to be good for whitening the teeth. Rubbing teeth daily with strawberries can give you the results.
  • Another fruit is orange that can help in whitening the teeth. The inside of the orange peel can be rubbed on the yellow teeth to have them white. Do it daily.
  • Lemon and salt are also considered good for making the yellow teeth white. Rubbing lemon peel alone can also give you white teeth. Another way is to mix a few drops of lemon juice with a pinch of salt to make a paste and apply on yellow teeth. Leave it for some time and then wash your teeth with plain tap water.
  • Avoid taking too much of the coffee and tea. Coffee and tea stains your teeth. Carbonated drinks also decolorize them. Avoid using too hot or too cold drinks.
  • Brush properly twice a day. Always use a good tooth paste. A good tooth paste might cost you a few more pennies but worth your teeth.
